Novel Editing Services:

Developmental Edit = $0.024/word (minimum 20,000 words)

Heavy focus on the overall plot and character depth
Does the main character make logical choices in tune with his or her character?
Maintain your narrator voice and writing style throughout the story
Proper pacing that never drags to keep the reader’s attention
Ensure that the main character completes his or her arc by the end
Rigorous editing to reduce all plot holes
Removing the fluff and extra details that could bog down the story
Check to guarantee enough conflict with characters and plot
I will provide a personal critique page for each edited chapter

Full Novel Edit = $0.021/word (minimum 30,000 words)

Heavy focus on the overall plot and character depth
Does the main character make logical choices in tune with his or her character?
Maintain your voice and style throughout the story
Proper pacing that never drags
Ensure that the main character completes his or her arc by the end
Rigorous editing to reduce all plot holes
Removing the fluff and extra details that could bog down the story
Check to guarantee conflict with characters and plot
Point of view is consistent throughout the narrative
Focus on setting and character descriptions are adequate

I will provide a critique page for each edited chapter

First Act Edit = $0.025/word for first 30,000 words maximum.

Focus on setting and character descriptions are adequate

Proofreading Services:

Proofreading Edit = $0.013/word (minimum of 10,000 words)

An in-depth check of sentence by sentence for any errors
Proper formatting for e-publishing or sending to a literary agent
Thorough spell check to fix all misspelled words
Check grammar by suggesting synonyms, correcting cliches, verb tense, passive voice, etc.
Correct punctuation applies to each word and sentence
Adheres to Chicago Manual of Style for all fiction proofreads
Provides a full critique page for each edited chapter

How the Process Works:

- Email me at noblecopytips@gmail.com about the details of your novel.
  - Tell me about the genre of your novel, how many words you plan on sending, and which option above you have chosen.
- Once we have an agreement on the price and time frame for my completed edits, I will draw up a contract/invoice and send it to you. You will sign it and send it back to me. Payment of half of the full contracted amount via PayPal is next. I will send you the link once the contract is completed. I prefer the novel is sent to me in .doc or .docx.
- I would prefer to have a completed novel sent to me before I begin editing. Partial and incomplete novels make it more difficult for me to edit because the story that you want to tell is not complete.
- All phone consultations and email correspondence are 100% FREE.
